Sorted material is loaded into the separator from a conveyor belt with adjustable speed. The parabola of falling material is lengthened by directional air intake. The heavy fraction falls onto the discharge tape, and the light fraction is sucked up and goes into a separate separator (light fraction separator).

The air in the system circulates, while 10-30% passes through the dust collector.
